Testing Methodology
We test accessibility using a combination of automated tools and manual assistive technology testing:
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
- Keyboard navigation: Full keyboard-only testing across all workflows
- Automated scanning: axe-core accessibility engine for automated WCAG checking
- Color contrast: All color pairs verified against WCAG AA thresholds
- Responsive testing: Tested at 200% zoom and across mobile/tablet/desktop viewports
Known Limitations
- The 3D health orb visualization relies on WebGL/Metal rendering; a text-based equivalent is provided for screen reader users
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g., telehealth video) may have limited accessibility controls
- PDF clinical documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader navigation
